The national police is reversing a measure taken recently to limit the issuance of passports.

In January, the issuance of passports was already limited, a situation justified by the national police following the lack of printed matter from the supplier. Subsequently, the passport service required certificates to justify the reason for the applicants’ trip (accommodation letter, etc.). Some users have raised their voices in the face of this requirement. Indeed, an accommodation certificate cannot be obtained without the person holding a valid passport.
Many users also denounce the corruption that reigns in this service. Indeed, touts prowl and lay down their law to the detriment of users, even more now than before. To deal with this, the national police announces that it has set up a number to report these acts of corruption.
