Carlos Bolsonaro made veiled criticisms when announcing that he will leave his father’s social media administration

Responsible for the social networks of former president Jair Bolsonaro (PL), the councilor of Rio de Janeiro, Carlos Bolsonaro, announced this Sunday (16) that he will leave the administration of his father’s accounts. The information was published on the councilor’s own Twitter.

Carlos had managed his father’s networks for about a decade, when Bolsonaro was still a federal deputy. Allies and even the former president himself believe the arrival at the Planalto Palace to the work done by the councilor on social networks.

“After more than a decade ahead and having created the social networks of @jairbolsonaro, I inform you that very soon the end of this VOLUNTEER life cycle will come. and this is no exception here.”, said Carlos.

In the publication, Carlos makes veiled criticisms and accused of having been treated in a way “that not even a mouse deserves”. He also said he did not believe in what led him to administer Bolsonaro’s networks.

“I intend to enter into a new life cycle with a personal focus. It’s difficult to be alone for years and be treated in a way that not even a mouse deserves. Years of great personal satisfaction and I’m sure that it will be of great value to good people and also to the most ungrateful and stupid ones” , he stated.

“I won’t leave without warning. Until then I’ll try to stay as usual, alone, but with a lot of energy. I no longer believe in what brought me here, but I hope that everything works out for everyone! Nothing impulsive, just fair and looking forward in a new phase of life!”, concluded the councilor.

Jair Bolsonaro has yet to comment on his son’s decision. The PL also did not take a position on the case.

Carlos Bolsonaro did not say who will be responsible for the former president’s social networks from now on. The tendency is for the administration to be in charge of Fábio Wajngarten, former secretary of Social Communication, and responsible for the former president’s press office.
