BOLZANO. Il police commissioner of Bolzano, Paolo Sartorihe issued three Daspos of one year each towards two fans of the Bolzano Hockey Club and of a Venetian minor fan during an FC Südtirol match for dangerous behavior during sporting events. During a hockey match between Bolzano and Valpusteria, on January 6th, a 25-year-old fan sported a T-shirt with a swastika: in addition to the Daspo, he was reported to the judicial authorities. Another 31-year-old fan, during the same match, while the spectators were leaving the facility, triggered a large smoke bomb near the Bolzano Sud railway station, where opposing fans were passing by, throwing it at the agents of the mobile police department deployed to defend the visiting fans.

The third Daspo was issued against a sixteen-year-old Venetian who, at the Druso stadium, during the match on 10 February between Suedtirol and Venezia, threw a smoke bomb in the host sector of the Canazza grandstand, causing panic and disorder among the fans present. The young man tried to hide his identity using a neck warmer, hat and jacket hood, but thanks to the collaboration between the Digos of Venice and that of Bolzano it was possible to identify him.

The Daspo prohibit recipients from accessing all national and international sporting events, as well as related areas for two hours before and after the events.
