‘Madame Web‘ is one of the upcoming Sony Pictures films that will continue to expand its curious universe of superheroes based on characters from the mythology of Spider-Man, but not counting the famous spider hero. Weird decisions that still continue to upset the public, but the company seems to ignore it as it continues with its strange plan.
The film will feature the participation of actresses known as Dakota Johnson, Isabela Moner y Sydney Sweeney. This last actress, known for her participation in productions such as ‘Euphoria‘ chatted with Variety regarding his arrival in superhero movies, revealing that he will play none other than Julia Carpenter.
In the comics, Julia Carpenter was for years one of the many Spider-Woman until she ended up being the successor to Cassandra Webb becoming the new ‘Madame Web’ and being able to see the famous web of spiders that involves multiverse themes.

About playing the character, the actress commented that once she found out that she had kept the role, she ran to a comic book store and decided to buy every comic that mentioned the character. «I think it’s different from what people can expect from a superhero movie.» mentioned regarding what Madame Web will be like.
So far Sony has kept complete secrecy regarding what we can expect from the film, although rumors have been the order of the day. The most notorious is that the company will take advantage of the fact that Marvel Studios is still on the subject of the multiverse in order to have a chance to involve its characters thanks to the powers of Madame Web.
