The Israeli Armed Forces carried out a series of attacks this Thursday against the airports of the Syrian cities of Damascus and Aleppo, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.

The organization, based in London and informants in the Arab country, has detailed that the airports were out of service, while the anti-aircraft defenses tried to respond to the offensive.

Later, the Ministry of Syrian transport has confirmed the Israeli attack on the airports of Damascus and Aleppo, and has detailed that all scheduled flights have been transferred to the Latakia airport.

According to the Ministry, the Israeli offensive has damaged the infrastructure of both airfields, leaving them temporarily out of service. The main damage is recorded on the landing strips, reports the SANA news agency.

The aggression of the Israeli Army occurs in a context marked by the offensives carried out from the Gaza Strip by the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), and by the Shii militia party Hezbollah from Lebanon.

Last Hamas launched an offensive over the weekend air and land against Israeli territory that claimed the lives of more than 1,200 people. Israel soon responded to what happened, and its response attacks now leave more than 1,400 Palestinians dead.
