A total of 45 crore 63 lakh rupees has been announced as prize money in terms of Indian rupees.
The winning team will be awarded a prize of 13 crore 3 lakh rupees.
6 crore 51 lakh rupees will be given to the 2nd place team and 3 crore 25 lakh rupees to the losing team in the semi-final.
32 lakhs and 58 thousand rupees each for the 4 teams who exit in the first round.
At the same time, 32 lakh 58 thousand rupees will be given for each win in the first round.
Similarly, 57 lakhs will be given to the team that is eliminated from the Super 12 round and 32 lakhs and 58 thousand each for each match won in the same Super 12 round.
It is noteworthy that 8 teams have already qualified for the Super 12 round namely Afghanistan, Australia, Bangladesh, England, India, New Zealand, Pakistan and South Africa.
In the first round, Group A and Group B teams will face each other.
Group A consists of Namibia, Sri Lanka, Netherlands and United Arab Emirates.
As for Group B, there are four teams namely West Indies, Scotland, Ireland and Zimbabwe.
