Chennai: The 84th Inter-State Youth and Junior National Championship Table Tennis Tournament is being held in Chennai.

On the 2nd day yesterday, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka teams clashed in the U-19 women’s team quarter-final round. Karnataka won by 3-1. Karnataka’s Anarkaya Manjunath lost to Kavyashree Bhaskar 8-11, 9-11, 9-11 in the first match. But in the next 3 matches, the Karnataka players registered a victory.

Maharashtra, West Bengal and Haryana won the other quarter finals.
