Director KS Ravikumar, who participated in an interview recently, shared an incident that happened while working with Simbu.

In 2006, the movie “Saravana” starring Simbu was released under the direction of KS Ravikumar. Two days into the shooting of the film, Simbu arrived at 11 am for the 7 am shoot. Ravikumar called Simbu on the third day and said, “I am leaving this film. Direct the film by pretending to be someone else. I will tell the producer and leave.”

Hearing this, Simbu said, “Sir, why are you saying this?” To ask, “I have been waiting for you since 7 o’clock. But you come at 11 o’clock. If you will come at 11 then tell me first. I plan accordingly. I am forced to finish this film very soon,” he said.

After that, Simbu will tell Ravikumar the time he will come for the shoot from the next day. KS Ravikumar will plan accordingly.

KS Ravikumar directed the film “Saravana” in the middle of the shooting of “Varalaru” directed by Ajith, and in that interval he directed the film. That is why he decided to finish the film soon.
