Kalapuraki–12 days after giving birth, the mother died suddenly. The family blamed the nurses.
Lakshmana is a resident of Shantanagar, Kalapuraki Town. His wife Anita, 22. She was full months pregnant and went into labor on the 18th.
He was admitted to Kalapuraki District Government Hospital, Gyms. The baby was born in a normal delivery.
He was ‘discharged’ on the 21st. He had fever then. But the nurses gave medicines and pills and sent them.
As the fever did not subside, he was again admitted to the hospital on the 26th. He died the day before yesterday without treatment.
The family alleged that Anitha, who gave birth to a healthy baby, wanted nurses and stitched it up, which caused her to fall ill and die. They protested in front of the hospital.
