A technological war is going on between the US and China. In this case, China is currently implementing new guidelines to prevent the use of ‘Intel’ and ‘AMD’ chips and software in computers and servers in Chinese government offices.

According to these new guidelines, Chinese government computers will not have Intel or AMD processors. Microsoft is recommending the use of domestically produced processor chips instead of Windows and foreign database software.

The US had already imposed export restrictions on China’s use of key software equipment and technologies.

In this case, if China uses its own product software in response to this, the US Microsoft Windows operating system and the production of database software made abroad will be affected.

With this, China’s domestic software usage is expected to grow in the home country.

It has also advised Chinese government agencies and domestic companies to use domestically produced safe and reliable processors and operating systems.

China is taking these steps to reduce its dependence on foreign technology. As a result, the revenue of China’s domestic chip equipment manufacturers is expected to increase significantly.
