According to initial information, a 14-year-old teenager had accidentally shot another teenager, whose age was not revealed, in the head with his father’s gun, who was said to be a police officer. The accident occurred on Avenida Eternidade, inside the Beija-flor 5 condominium, in Bairro Cosmorama. According to neighbors’ reports, the shooting occurred inside the 14-year-old teenager’s home. He allegedly took his father’s gun from a hiding place and showed it to his friend, without knowing it was loaded. The victim was taken to the Adão Pereira Nunes Hospital, in Duque de Caxias, also in Baixada. The victim’s health condition is considered serious. According to witnesses, the father of the teenager who shot fell ill when he found out about the case and needed medical care. He was treated at the same hospital, treated and released.
