In the United States, a person who was traveling alone in a Tesla car suffered from neck pain and was taken to the nearest hospital by the car itself. How was this possible? What happened after that? Let’s see more details about it.

There is a widespread perception around the world that machines will rule humans in the future. Although it will take a few more centuries, it seems certain that we will reach such a state. Because now some technical facilities have come to be able to operate automatically.

In particular, cars are being designed to act autonomously in an emergency. American electric car manufacturer Tesla has gone a step further and started making its electric cars fully autonomous a few years ago.

However, do you want such auto-drive cars? This question can be seen even among the people of economically developed countries like America. A few say no, but many say yes. Why? As an answer to the question, a Tesla car has saved the life of a driver who suffered a heart attack while driving and took him to the hospital.

The person who was rescued reported this incident to the outside world through an X-record as he was undergoing treatment in the hospital. The man, identified as Maxwell Franklin, shared a post on the X site that featured photos taken while he was in the hospital and his Tesla Model 3 electric car.

At the time of the incident, Maxwell Franklin’s Tesla was operating in full self-driving capability. Suffering from dehydration and high blood sugar, Maxwell Franklin is prone to chest pains at any time. But he didn’t expect to experience chest pain while driving alone around 2 a.m. on April 2.

Being on the road also means less chances of getting immediate medical help. Thus, Maxwell enlisted the help of his Tesla Model 3 electric car. Tesla unlocked full self-driving capability on its cars in the US on April 1st. That is, Tesla stopped the self-driving feature that was already in use for some reason.

While the feature was unlocked on April 1st, the feature helped Maxwell Franklin immensely the very next day. Maxwell Franklin has taken his Tesla car into full self-driving mode by using the controls provided on the steering wheel. His X post on this can be found below.

DriveSpark Comment: Given such incidents, self-driving cars seem to be necessary. However, many have commented on Maxwell Franklin’s X post, “Call an ambulance for medical help at times like these.” But it is almost impossible to get immediate medical help at 2 am.
