Teyana Taylor Pissed Iman Made Divorce Public
After 7 years of marriage, Teyana Taylor and Iman Shumpert are in the midst of a bitter divorce, and things are getting nasty as they are no longer living under the same roof. Teyana is placing the blame squarely on her estranged husband for making their divorce public.
Sources close to the ex-couple have revealed that Teyana is incredibly disappointed and frustrated with Iman for deciding to make their identities public in a recent court filing in their divorce case. Teyana had sought to not only protect their kids from this mess, but Iman as well, which is why she initially filed for divorce using just their initials. However, after Iman’s latest legal move, their privacy has been completely compromised.
According to TMZ, Teyana and Iman are not living under the same roof, and communication between them is minimal, only revolving around their two children. This is a stark contrast to Teyana’s earlier announcement in September, where she made it seem like they were on good terms following their separation.
TMZ previously reported that Teyana had accused Iman of being a jealous spouse, with Iman allegedly being annoyed and aggravated with her burgeoning career, particularly in acting. Despite the turmoil in her personal life, Teyana attended the Gotham Awards in NYC, where she was nominated for Outstanding Lead Performance for her indie drama, “A Thousand and One.”
