Indian cricketer Dinesh Karthik shared a video recording thanking all his teammates, coaches, friends and fans. He played in the recently concluded T20 World Cup series.
37-year-old Dinesh Karthik made his debut in international cricket in 2004. Since then, he has been playing in the team whenever he gets a chance. He is fondly known as DK by his fans. A player who has made many comebacks in the Indian team. He has played 26 Tests, 94 ODIs and 65 T20Is for the Indian team.
In the 2022 IPL series, he performed well for Royal Challengers Bangalore. Because of that he got the opportunity to play in the Indian team. He was also seen as a T20 specialist batsman. He shared a moving video in this context.
“I worked very hard towards the goal of playing in the T20 World Cup series for India. Doing so has given me a sense of pride. We failed at the last stage in our efforts. But it has given me many unforgettable memories in my lifetime.
Thank you to my teammates, coaches, friends and fans for their support.” His statement raised the question that he is retiring from international cricket.
