A video clip that spread on social media sparked widespread controversy and great anger, after Yassine Manea appeared in it slapping a number of his players during a match that took place yesterday, Saturday, and brought together his team with the Tunisian national team.
In front of everyone’s eyes, Mana intervened to resolve a dispute that occurred between the two teams, as he resorted to slapping his players in the face in an angry state that made him the focus of much criticism.
Many social media users considered that the coach’s reaction could only be classified as physical abuse and assault on the players’ dignity.
A number of people called for Manea’s dismissal, considering that the mistake he committed was unforgivable.
The match, which falls within the framework of the Algeria International Football Tournament, ended with the Tunisian team defeating its Algerian counterpart by 3 goals to two.
The friendly tournament will be held in Algeria with the participation of the teams of Egypt, Tunisia and Mauritania, in addition to the host Algerian team.
