The epidemiological situation with COVID-19 has worsened in 14 regions of Russia over the week from October 15 to October 22, Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova said, RIA Novosti reports.

The situation became more complicated in:

  • Astrakhan, Nizhny Novgorod, Penza, Samara, Sverdlovsk, Rostov regions,
  • in the Altai, Perm and Trans-Baikal regions,
  • in the republics of Mordovia, Adygea, Karachay-Cherkessia,
  • in the Yamalo-Nenets, Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrugs.

The same information follows from the heat map data on the Stopcoronavirus portal, which takes into account the number of COVID-19 cases per day per 100 thousand population by region and changes in this indicator.

In this regard, Golikova reminded Russians planning trips that before leaving for another region, one should take into account the epidemiological situation there.
