In Kemerovo, the ballots at polling station No. 237, where the stuffing was detected, were canceled, Kommersant was told at the territorial election commission of the Zavodskoy district of the city district. The number of invalid documents has not been specified.
Earlier, observers of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation confirmed the fact of ballot stuffing at the polling station. The information was passed on to the regional electoral commission.
In the region from September 17 to 19, elections to the councils of people’s deputies of Kemerovo, Anzhero-Sudzhensk, Kaltan, Novokuznetsk, Polysaevo, Taiga, Leninsk-Kuznetsky, as well as the Mariinsky and Belovsky municipal districts are held, additional elections of deputies to the Legislative Assembly of the region in the Myskovsky district, additional elections on 12 districts to local councils in eight cities and districts. Elections to the State Duma are organized in four single-mandate constituencies – Kemerovo, Prokopyevsky, Zavodskoy and Novokuznetsk.
