1. Jaffa Cinema
A place established by the actor Roy Nick a year and a half ago. The Jaffa Cinema is a home for local creations and has a sea of soul, with three daily screenings of films that are selected with fine taste. It’s a place that gives creators an intimate and respectful home, and besides, there’s the tastiest popcorn in town, and an excellent bar. A real gem.

2. The basta
When I met my partner, I used to eat at Pasta Basta on the outskirts of Carmel Market, luckily I was upgraded and he introduced me to Basta, which is only a few minutes away. A place for food lovers, creativity, professionalism and passion. Whenever possible, we are always happy to come to eat something delicious and different, to drink, and no less, if not more, for the professional and friendly staff and the generous spirit of life there.

3. Givat Aliya beach
I fell in love with the place already during the location tour I did in the second year for my film and I actually shot on this beach and since then it entered my heart. When I met my partner I found out that it was also his beach, and since then it has been our family beach. Located in the city, but even of all the beaches you feel the most outside of it. I love it, and also the diverse bathers and sojourners who come there – from young single Tel Avivians to Japanese families with many children and everything in between. Besides, before or after you can go shopping for food in Jaffa, which is always good.
4. Shimon the King of Soups
The place to eat Yemenite soup, bean soup and the best salof in town. When I lived in the vineyard area this was my regular place for lunch. Since then I have already moved away from Eliyahu, but this soup also comes to me on a special mission on special occasions, such as after births, on birthdays, etc. An intimate family place, with history and especially with such delicious and comforting food.

5. Anis Cultural Center
I was exposed to this discovery through the pre-premiere screenings of “Sabaya Cinema”. The center is located in the heart of the Jaffa D neighborhood and serves as a cinema and theater. There are 450 seats there, and they project in amazing DCP quality. The cinema screens new international films, festival films, Israeli films and films from the Arab world. In addition, there is also an ecological cafe, Anis Cafe, on the initiative and leadership of the residents of the neighborhood, and for non-profit purposes. A most valuable discovery!
