According to the general manager, Christian Camilo Triviño, the task of changing the status of the hospital was not easy, not only towards the MinSalud but towards the community, in its facilities and services.

The transformation has been evident and applauded by the inhabitants of the municipality, who now have quality service and benefits that were not previously available, such as Telemedicine services for patients with psychiatric requirements, acquisition of a completely new and perfectly gifted

“This purchase was made through our own resources and in an agreement that we made through the Department of Valle del Cauca,” says the current manager Christian Triviño and adds: “Today the hospital has enabled level two and level three services, which which allows the inhabitants of Pradera to no longer have to travel to neighboring municipalities to have medical appointments for internal medicine, family medicine, gynecology, pediatrics or rehabilitation.”

Likewise, the emergency area was remodeled and equipped with stretchers, ladders, a special stretcher for CPR, electrocardiograph, lecterns, nebulizer, fetal monitor, among others. The purchase and renewal of air conditioners for the entire hospital was also managed, the nutrition service was enabled, the quality of the internet was improved and more than 35 new computers were acquired to improve service provision by health professionals. .

These achievements obtained during the last two years are important to add, since the list of those missing is quite long.

This entity sends a message to Colombia and all its hospitals: “Yes, it is possible. With transparency, love for the community and commitment, a hospital that was at risk of intervention is today one that becomes an administration model for the rest of the country.”

The Lili Valley Foundation, located in Cali, was the highest-ranked clinic with 162nd place globally, with a rating of 94 percent, becoming the best clinic in the country, according to the study’s standards. In addition, it is the third consecutive year in which it appears on the list, the institution published on its X account.

In the country’s capital, the Santa Fe de Bogotá Foundation was the second clinic that appeared among the 250 best in the world. With a score of 92.85 percent, it took 244th place on the list.

Other outstanding clinics and hospitals

The global classification of hospitals and clinics allows institutions in the sector to identify which shortcomings and strengths are present in their services. Apart from those already mentioned, the report highlighted other healthcare centers at the local level: the Pablo Tobón Uribe Hospital in Medellín; San Vicente University Hospital of Medellín; and the Clínica del Country de Bogotá for its high level compared to the evaluated criteria.
