This was confirmed by “Medical News Today”, explaining that the caesarean section wound may need to heal completely for a period of up to 3 months, as a minimum.
For some women, the healing process of the caesarean section may take 6 months at the latest, so it is better not to plan for childbearing until this period has passed.
It is also recommended to use a birth control method, such as the contraceptive pill or IUD, with the need to oblige the husband to wear a condom before intercourse, to provide more protection.
