Police recovered the body of singer, actress Vijayalakshmi alias Mallika Rajput. His body was recovered from his home in Sultanpur, Uttar Pradesh on Tuesday (February 13). India TV published this news.
According to this report, Mallika’s house is located in Sitakundu area of Kotyali Nagar. His body was hanging from a fan in a flat of this house. Later the local police went and recovered the hanging body. Later, the panchayat form was filled and the body was sent for post-mortem.
No one else in the house knows when this incident happened. Mallika’s mother Sumitra Singh said, ‘Earlier the door was closed. But the lights were on. We tried three times but could not open the door. The last time I peeked through the window, I saw our daughter hanging. Then I called my husband and others. But by then it was all over.’
Regarding this incident, police officer Srirama Pandey said, initially, it is believed to be suicide. The matter can be confirmed after receiving the post-mortem report. Further action will be taken as per the post-mortem report.
Five-six years ago, Mallika married a man named Shinde Jarnadon. Since then there was turmoil in the world. Police believe that he may have decided to commit suicide because of this.
