Chief Minister Stalin has ordered a relief fund of three lakh rupees to the family of a student who died due to overdose of nutritional pills in Nilgiris district.
On March 6, four female students and two male students overdosed on nutritional pills at Udagamandalam Municipality Urdu Middle School in Nilgiris district.
As a result, the four students were admitted to the Coimbatore Government Hospital for further treatment.
In this, a student died on the way while being taken to Chennai for advanced treatment.
On learning this, the Principal expressed his deepest condolences to the student’s family. He has also ordered to provide a relief fund of three lakh rupees.
Also, the Chief Minister has ordered to provide excellent treatment to the girl students undergoing treatment at the Coimbatore Government Hospital and to provide them with Rs.1 lakh each from the Chief Minister’s General Relief Fund.
