Following on from Bill Clinton (1992) and Donald Trump (2021), President Joe Biden has just authorized the declassification and public availability of new documents on the assassination of his distant predecessor, John Kennedy, which occurred in Dallas, November 22, 1963. More than 13,000 reports, telegrams, minutes of meetings, letters and notes, which we were able to consult, were put online in mid-December on the site of the American National Archives. They basically cover the years 1963-1964, with a few pieces up to the end of the 1970s. But most of them are, if not insignificant, at least useless in the search for the truth in a case that has been going on for sixty years. and has already been the subject of a plethora of official reports (often ignored on this side of the Atlantic), dozens of independent investigations and a bibliography in which it is very difficult not to drown. .
