The National Investment Authority confirmed that the current year will witness the signing of a contract for the construction of 70,000 housing units in Bismaya.
The official spokesman for the National Investment Authority, Muthanna Al-Ghanimi, said to the “Duty of Frankness” program, which is shown on Al-Iraqiya News and affiliated with the (INA), that “more than 1,400 housing units have been distributed in Bismaya,” indicating that “the memorandum of understanding with Hanwha drew a clear road map.” “Lasmayah.”
He added, “This year will witness the signing of a contract to construct 70,000 housing units in Bismaya, and it is on the verge of a major achievement during the current year,” noting that “63-70 thousand people applied for Bismaya units within 6 days.”
He pointed out that “the government is a sponsor of the investment sector in Iraq,” adding: “Iraq is fertile ground for investment opportunities.”
He explained, “The number of investment opportunities reached 326 opportunities in 2023,” stressing that “the rates of foreign investment in Iraq are increasing.”
He pointed out that “25 percent of the housing units in the city of Ali Al-Wardi will be granted to the state,” noting that “investment projects will contribute to maximizing the state’s revenues.”
He continued, “2024 will be a year of achievements in the field of investment.”
