The runoff gave a shocking result, with a large victory for Javier Milei (La Libertad Avanza) over the Kirchnerist candidate Sergio Massa (Unión por la Patria) who recognized the victory of the libertarian. Milei won with more than 55% of the votes, against Massa’s 44% at the national level.
Milei obtained a victory in almost the entire country, except in three provinces: Buenos Aires, Santiago del Estero and Formosa. Córdoba was undoubtedly one of the provinces that gave a broad victory to the libertarian. But so was Santa Fe where the libertarian won with more than 62% of the votes, against Massa’s 37%.
Milei won the entire province in a landslide.
