Without a doubt, in 2024 we will see new electric models with imminent urban character arriving on the vehicle market, and at a more affordable price than what we have seen so far. The electric one is more expensive than the combustion one, and that is why perhaps we also have to get used to the fact that “the car for everything” is already part of history.
At Invicta they take advantage of the existence of market niches for their new products, and an example of this is the new Pocco. A 100% electric microcar with which they approach, on the one hand, the younger public, but also those drivers who are aware of zero-emission mobility, both for urban and rural environments.
With three meters in length and a range of 150 kilometers, the Pocco enters a segment that already has notable weight in many other countries in the world, and that will probably also begin to take off in Spain.
In this case, and compared to some rivals that are already present in our market, the Invicta allows us to travel both in the city and on the highway thanks to its maximum speed of 90 km/h. In addition, its powerful acceleration allows it to go from 0 to 60 km/h in just 3 seconds. Its braking system with ABS ensures good stopping capacity. And if it is used in rural environments, its ground clearance of 17 centimeters and the possibility of overcoming slopes of 25% make it an ideal companion for traveling.
On the dashboard, made with a clean and harmonious design, the central touch screen stands out for managing the multimedia system and where the signal from the rear parking assistance camera is also received. Below it are a dozen quick access keys to the most common air conditioning and air conditioning functions, as well as the warning button.
From the screen and thanks to the Carlife application, we can connect the car with the mobile phone. This has a reserved space to house it in the center console, just in front of the driving mode selection wheel. In addition, in the cabin there are USB connectors and a 12 V socket for recharging electronic devices.
On the console we also find a bottle holder to safely house a drink. For its part, on the door handles there are the controls for the electric windows and, on the driver’s side, the central locking switch.
The driving position is dominated by a steering wheel with a design that is as sporty as it is ergonomic, and which is flattened at the bottom to facilitate access. The steering has electric assistance. The seats give the interior a sporty look thanks to their design with integrated headrests. In addition, the instrumentation screen offers, with a minimalist design, the essential information that the driver needs: speed and battery charge level.
The latter has a capacity of 9.2 kWh and can be recharged from a conventional socket in just 6 hours. Thanks to its intelligent management system, efficient energy delivery and maximum duration after charge and discharge cycles are guaranteed. The location of the battery makes it possible to avoid a reduction in the interior space of the passenger compartment and, in addition, contributes positively to lowering the center of gravity of the vehicle. Its price starts at 10,710 euros, including promotions and public aid.
