The colorful and entertaining Battle Royale game Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout will become free and even reach other platforms, the developer Mediatonic announced.

With its release in August 2020, Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout has become one of the popular Battle Royale games and instead of shooting each other like other games, it offers players a different challenge in the form of obstacle courses that must be overcome in order to stay in first place in the crown competition.

Until now the game was only available on PC and PlayStation 4 console, but now that with the release of the first season known as Free For All on June 21, the game will get an updated version that supports improvements to both PlayStation 5 console and Nintendo Switch ( Nintendo) and Microsoft Xbox consoles (Microsoft). In addition, players from different platforms will be able to play together as it supports cross-play and progress.

Despite the move to the free model, it will offer players a seasonal ‘stripe’ for a fee, with 100 levels, whose buyers will receive additional prizes as they progress through the levels. The developer promises that they have not lost sight of the support of players who purchased the game and to these it will offer an additional free package of benefits within the game such as three costumes, a free first monthly stripe alongside cosmetic items.
