The fear that a priest may be shot dead in Batticaloa has caused a stir among Christians.

Last Monday (25) a special Mass for the priests was held in the Batticaloa Synagogue under the leadership of the Bishop.

After that, one of the bishops expressed his fear that he might be killed at the point of a gun while there was concern among the bishops about the danger and threat that might be caused to him by some people in Ayarillam.
