Arrives for the first time in Argentina Red Bull Dance Your Style, the most fun street dance competition in the world, to challenge dancers from all over the country in epic 1 vs 1 battles. The event will be with free entry and will take place next Saturday, April 6 at the Federative Republic of Brazil Square (Azcuénaga 1685 – CABA), starting at 4 p.m.
Red Bull Dance Your Style proposes a new concept of dance battle, with music that breaks all the rules. From house to twerk, from hip-hop to afro and from Queen until Billie Eilish.
The rules of the competition are simple: the dancers face each other in battles where they must improvise each of their steps according to the music playing at the moment. They can’t prepare any moves because they never know what song will be next. All this takes place under the watchful eye of a single jury: the public.
In this way, participants have the challenge of captivating the audience by adapting to the rhythm, lyrics and instruments of each track, with the freedom of their own movements.
Fourteen street dancers have already been invited to participate in this first National Finalto which are added two more competitors who will come out of the auditions that will take place on Friday, April 5 in The Park Studio. For that day there was a call on networks that exploded and in just one hour the 120 available spots were sold out.
During that day, the dancers and choreographers Lu Basterrica, Agus Franzoni y Lucas Alvarez They will be in charge of evaluating applicants to decide who deserves the last two places.
Finally, 16 dancers will go in search of the title. Among the guests there are dancers from Corrientes, Salta, La Rioja and Córdoba, among other provinces. In this context, the diversity and cultural richness will be appreciated, as well as the variety of talents and skills that emerge from every corner of the country.
Whoever ends up being crowned Argentine champion of Red Bull Dance Your Style, will represent the country in the International Final to be held on November 9 in Mumbai, India. That day will bring together dancers from more than 30 countries.
