How does a girl choose go-karting?
– For me, it was like we went go-karting with friends, and then I liked this sport. We started looking for opportunities to compete and that’s how I started in the HCK and Carting365 championships. The good results and podium finishes came quickly, which is why they told me to try a racing go-kart. And from then on, there is no stopping.
In what category did you start this year, what results did you manage to achieve?
– This was my first year in the senior category, in which I competed in a total of 11 race weekends. 6 of these were in the National Championship, where I finished fifth, while 5 were in the Hungarian Cup, which I finally managed to win. I tried my luck in the domestic OKN championship in Slovakia, where I came third nationally.
This week you will travel to Valencia, Spain, where you will participate in the Motorsport Olympics with the Hungarian team. What do you need to know about this competition, what category are you competing in?
– Roughly 900 competitors will be there in Valencia, who will start in nearly 30 categories, me in the go-kart slalom. They come from all over the world, from a total of 84 countries, since it is organized by the International Automobile Federation, i.e. the FIA. We are starting with a team of 11 people, there will be e-sports among us, but we are also interested in car slalom, for example. Anyway, this will be my last competition this year.
What are your goals for the competition?
– I would like to achieve the best possible result. Two years ago, the Hungarian team finished in sixth place in the go-kart slalom category, and I would be more than happy if they managed to get a better position.

You mentioned that this will be your last race this year. Can the well-deserved rest come? How do you plan for next year?
– There is usually personal training twice a week, and in the winter we usually go to Italy or Austria on weekends to practice on different tracks. This is how we are preparing for next year, where I would like to start in the Hungarian championship as well, and I would also try my luck abroad, because there the field is bigger, you can compete better and the opponents are tougher. In addition, it is possible that we will move towards the Suzuki Cup or touring cars, I would like to try what they are like.
