The Government announced the payment to the IMF of US$2,590 million for October maturities

Another source to face the payment will be the Special Drawing Rights (SDR), the IMF currency. Yesterday, 1,975 million SDRs were disbursed, equivalent to US$2,590 million, and next Monday the same will be done with 630 million SDRs, equivalent to US$830 million, to settle the second payment. After the elections, the entity chained 7 purchasing sessions for about US$630 million.
