New aids for the installation of solar panels. The Ministry for the Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge (Miteco) announced yesterday the extension of 505 million euros in aid for self-consumption, energy storage and thermal installations with renewables, included in the Plan of Recovery, Transformation and Resilience (PRTR). The aid will be received by the Autonomous Communities of Andalusia, Aragon, the Balearic Islands, Castilla y León, Castilla-La Mancha, Catalonia, Valencia, Galicia, Madrid and the Basque Country, which have already committed the funds of the Program that they originally received and they have requested extension. In the case of Catalonia, the aid increases by 115 million.
The Institute for the Diversification and Saving of Energy (IDAE), a body attached to Miteco, is responsible for managing the Program, which is disseminated by the Autonomous Communities throughout Spain.
