The issue of building a high-speed line (HSR) between Nizhny Novgorod and Moscow has been regularly raised for many years. At first they were going to build it for the World Cup, then postponed indefinitely, but Nizhny Novgorod residents still hope.
At the final press conference, the head of the Gorky railway, Sergei Dorofeevsky, was again asked a question about the high-speed rail. According to him, work on the highway project has been completed, the project has passed the state examination. Now we are waiting for a decision at the federal level to start its implementation.
“All the most global paperwork has been done,” concluded S. Dorofeevsky.
