Today, Friday, the International Court of Justice rejected the Zionist entity’s request to dismiss the lawsuit filed by South Africa.

The International Court of Justice began reading the ruling on emergency measures in the genocide case against the Zionist entity.
During the session, the court stated: “We are aware of the tragedy in Gaza, and are deeply concerned about the loss of life there.”
She added that she was “very aware of the tragedy taking place in Gaza and condemns the ongoing killing there,” adding: “We are deeply concerned about the continued loss of life in Gaza.”
The court’s president, Justice Joan Donoghue, said: “The court can take interim measures if the circumstances satisfy Articles 7 and 9 of the court’s charter.”
Donoghue added, “Interim measures are taken if the submitted request is consistent with similar precedents,” explaining that “the scope of the court’s jurisdiction in this area is limited due to the request submitted by South Africa related to genocide.”
She stressed that “the Zionist entity’s request to delete the case related to precautionary measures is a rejected request,” indicating that “the court will not now decide whether the Zionist entity violated the obligations of the Genocide Convention.”
