MADRID, 29 Feb. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The Israeli Army killed a young Palestinian this Wednesday night during an operation against the town of Beit Furik, southeast of the city of Nablus, located in the northern West Bank, where Israeli forces have increased their actions since attacks by the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) on October 7.

Local sources have confirmed the death of Bashar Nihad Hanani, 25, after being shot in the abdomen and despite his transfer to a local hospital, as reported by the Palestinian news agency WAFA.

Israeli troops have assaulted the town, where numerous clashes have occurred, and during which they have even raided the Friendship Medical Center.

At the same time, the Army has also stormed the city of Hebron and the nearby town of Bani Naim, resulting in the arrest of one person.

Since the Hamas attacks on October 7, which left 1,200 dead and 240 hostages, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have intensified their operations in the West Bank and East Jerusalem, leaving 404 Palestinians dead, including 102 minors, and more than 4,500 injured. In the Gaza Strip, the Hamas-controlled Ministry of Health has reported the deaths of nearly 30,000 Palestinians.
