Behind him is his daughter Sandra Ortega – the only woman in the first five places on the list – whose fortune has grown to 7.1 billion euros, a figure that contrasts with that of the current president of Inditex , Marta Ortega, with 80 million euros, who remains outside the ‘top 100’.

For his part, the president of FerrovialRafael del Pino, closes the ‘top 3’ with a fortune valued at 5.9 billion euros, while Juan Carlos Escotet, president ofbankrises to fourth position with 4,000 million euros, while the president of MercadonaJuan Roig, ranks fifth with 3.9 billion euros.

In this edition, Tomás Olivo, owner of General de Galerías Comerciales and second largest shareholder of Unicaja Banco, has seen his fortune double to 3.5 billion euros, which has allowed him to rise from 17th to sixth position, while Leopoldo del Pino, shareholder of Ferrovial and with a capital of 2.7 billion euros, rises from 14th place to ninth.

In this way, the ‘top-10’ of Spanish fortunes are completed by the entrepreneurs Daniel Maté, who is in sixth place with 2.9 billion euros; Juan Abelló (2,900 million euros), and the president of Mango, Isak Andic, who closes in 10th place with a fortune of 2,700 million euros.

For his part, Acciona’s president, José Manuel Entrecanales, who last year ranked 42nd, does not appear in this ranking this year due to the penalty Acciona has received from investors.

By autonomous communities, 57% of the great Spanish fortunes are taxed in Madrid or Catalonia, which are divided into 28 for the Spanish capital and 29 for Catalonia.

Thus, Madrid accumulates a wealth of 38,548 million euros, while the Catalan territory, which has the most billionaires in the ranking, has a wealth of 26,102 million euros, 48% less, while Galicia remains in third place with nine great assets, while the Valencian Community and the Balearic Islands tied for fourth place, with seven assets each.

Again, Sandra Ortega remains the richest woman in Spain, although on this occasion she is the only one who manages to be in the ‘top 10’ with a second place, while Maria del Pino i Alicia Koplowitzboth with assets of 2.5 billion euros, are in 12th and 13th place, respectively.

Hortensia Herrerothe wife of Juan Roig, is in 15th place with 2.2 billion euros, while the president of Coca-Cola Europacific Partners, Sol Daurellaranks 16th with 2,000 million euros.

The total wealth of Spanish women is close to 47,000 million euros. A figure that is 75.7% lower than that of the 100 richest men, who accumulate 193,813 million euros.
