On October 6, the episodes of the second season of the Loki series will arrive on the Disney+ platform. The first season returned to the essence of Marvel, especially with the ending of the last chapter. It raised more questions than it answered, opened the door to many universes (or maybe multiverses) and connected other films.
In this second season, of course, Tom Hiddleston and Sophia Di Martino will be the main protagonists, two of the many Lokis depicted in the series. They will be joined by Owen Wilson, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Wunmi Mosaku, Eugene Cordero, Rafael Casal, Tara Strong or Kate Dickie, among others.
Through the Loki series, Marvel opened a new era with the UCM multiverse. In an alternate branch of the Avengers, after Loki is freed, members of the TVA go after the god of deception to capture and destroy him. Because that is the purpose of the mysterious organization: to eliminate the variations in the timeline so that everything continues as it should. Or so they say.
Also, Hiddleston is not the only Loki they want to catch, as Sophia Di Martino is also causing a lot of headaches. Mobius (Wilson) works to understand and believe everything and through him the viewer gets to know more. In this second season, there are not a few things that need to be clarified.
Where did Ravonna go at the end of the season and what happened to her? Where is Sophia Di Martino’s Loki? Will Hiddleston’s character be able to explain what he knows about Kang the Conqueror? The main enemy of Phase Four is the character of Jonathan Majors, he made a unique appearance in the third installment of the Ant-Man movie and now he is included in every theory. Or maybe we should say has. It will be clearer from October 6.
