Viral marriage It pours when you say yes, a bear plunders the buffet – but the bride raves about her “perfect wedding”

When it comes to the wedding, many bridal couples are obsessed with making sure every detail is right. At a ceremony in Colorado, there were just two incidents that would have spoiled the day for others. But the bridal couple took it with humor.

From the seating arrangement, the menu and the course of the day to the flower decoration: If you want to celebrate a perfect wedding, you have to plan countless details carefully. If something then goes wrong, it quickly spoils the big day for many bridal couples. When Cailyn McRossie-Martinez and Brandon Martinez got married, they faced two big issues. And still didn’t let that spoil the fun.

The couple has been together since they were at school and tied the knot in early August. The ceremony took place outside, under a frame made of birch wood they wanted to exchange vows. But during the wedding vows, the weather suddenly intervened. “In the middle of the ceremony, it suddenly started to pour,” the bride tells the local station “KUSA-TV”. Even the quickly pulled out umbrellas save nothing. On the kiss photo shared on Facebook, both are visibly soaking wet.

But they didn’t let that spoil their mood. “Everyone was completely soaked,” Cailyn recalls. “But it was great. It was just completely great.” In fact, the wedding guests and the bridal couple just look happy in the pictures.

But the biggest surprise came later. When the wedding party later gathered on the dance floor in the marquee, an uninvited guest suddenly appeared. A black bear had crept into the tent and, unperturbed by the revelers, climbed the buffet table and helped itself eagerly. “It’s not that often you see a bear going over the dessert table and eating everything,” Brandon said with a smile. Luckily, the uninvited guest was quickly chased away by security without causing any major problems.

However, the newlyweds did not let the incidents spoil their big day. “Not everything in life goes according to plan. In the end, it’s about getting through it together,” summarizes the bride of her first marriage lesson. In the end it was “a perfect Colorado wedding”.
