In the lottery draw that took place on Tuesday (23/8/2022), a single winner won the second prize in the amount of NIS 2,250,000. The winner arrived at the factory on Sunday afternoon, a little less than a week after the lottery.
The winner, Nashua + 3 from the south of time, said excitedly: “Until before the number of lotteries, the amount of the prize was particularly high, and I used to participate in these lotteries. When the prize was ‘taken’ at the beginning of the month, and I realized that it was definitely not me, I toyed with the thought that maybe I too had won a significant amount in the lottery . I checked the form at the concessionaire and found out that I had won 15 NIS. I took a deep breath, expressed a wish to the Creator of the world, and purchased a new lottery form, without thinking too much.”

“Before the arrangements for Friday morning, I browsed for pleasure on Instagram and came across an advertisement that the lottery factory was waiting for the winner of the second prize that had not yet arrived. I remembered that I had a form in my bag that had not yet been checked. I began to compare the numbers on the form with the results, and pretty quickly I realized that the lottery machine had guessed six numbers for me. I wasn’t sure myself and I immediately called my husband to check. Due to the excitement of both of us we were not sure of ourselves and then my husband suggested that we download the lottery app and scan the form. And so we did and finally realized that my heart’s wish had come true,” she said excitedly.
The winning couple spent the weekend with great joy and excitement. “We barely managed to close an eye,” shared her partner: “We had enough time to think with ourselves what we would do with the winning money. We made an informed decision not to share with anyone at the moment. It is not a ‘life-changing’ amount, and we still need to consider our next step. At first we thought maybe to improve housing, but we don’t want to make a rash decision. We’re good where we are right now and winning won’t change us.”
