jpnn.comJAKARTA – Mayor of Balikpapan H Rahmad Mas’ud will be appointed as the Head of the Malay World of Islam (DMDI) Kaltim on Sunday (31/3).
The appointment will be made by the President of DMDI Tun Seri Setia Dr H Mohd Ali bin Mohd Rustam/Yang di Pertua Negeri Malacca, Malaysia, together with the General Manager of DMDI Indonesia Datuk H Said Aldi Al Idrus.
Tun Mohd Ali Rustam welcomed the formation of the Kaltim DMDI manager who was decoded by H Rahmad Mas’ud.
He also reminded the Chairman of DMDI East Kalimantan to be able to synergize with DMDI throughout Indonesia and the world. Apart from that, we must continue to coordinate with the General Chairperson of DMDI Indonesia, Said Aldi, in carrying out the work program.
Because, continued Tun Seri Ali Rustam, DMDI aims to accelerate the development and progress of Malay tribes, customs, and culture in 23 countries.
“We always try to be at the forefront if there are people who need help. Because DMDI’s work program focuses on the economic, educational, humanitarian, social, da’wah, disaster response and food security sectors,” said Tuh Mohd. Ali Rustam, in his statement, Tuesday (26/3).
Meanwhile, General Chairperson of DMDI Indonesia Said Aldi told Rahmad Mas’ud to synergize with the provincial government when appointed.
Because, said Said Aldi, DMDI Indonesia together with other provincial administrators, including East Kalimantan, will build a Malay Museum and form a Food Bank.
