First Deputy Chief of Staff of the Presidential Administration Sergei Kiriyenko held a self-defense master class as part of the Tavrida educational forum in Crimea. The video was published by Ura.ru.
In the video, Kiriyenko summoned a volunteer and, using several self-defense techniques, put him on his shoulder blades. Then he helped the enemy to get up.
Kirienko is fond of martial arts, has the fourth dan in aikido. His hobbies also include practical shooting, sport hunting and fishing. Since 2005, he has been co-chairman of the Russian Union of Martial Arts and President of the National Aikido Council of Russia.
In the summer of 2019, President Vladimir Putin appointed Kiriyenko as chairman of the organizing committee of the Tavrida-Art festival of creative communities.
