A second plane flew over the US Congress, causing panic over the attack and evacuating everyone on campus.
A military plane carrying military skydivers has been born in Washington, D.C., over what is now known as the American Capitol.
Capitol police officers who saw this raised a false alarm that an attack was being carried out. Following this, the Capitol Police immediately evacuated all members of parliament and bystanders from the premises to safety.
Revealed fact
The incident, which took place at around 6.30pm yesterday, was mistakenly identified by US Capitol Police as a threat to a military aircraft.
In fact, it was revealed that the plane had parachuted the U.S. Army’s Golden Knights demonstration team to the nearby Washington Nationals game.
The U.S. Capitol Police were not notified. About 20 minutes later, Capitol Police found no threat.

Following this, Speaker Nancy Pelosi blamed the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) for causing unnecessary panic.

“The apparent failure of the Federal Aviation Administration to inform Capitol Police about the pre-planned Flyover Nationals Stadium is outrageous and unforgivable,” Pelosi said in a statement.

Pelosi said the unnecessary panic caused by this blatant negligence would harm members and staff who have not yet recovered from the shock of the attack by supporters of former US President Donald Trump on January 6 last year. He added that Congress FAA officials should be held accountable for the mistake.
As the shock of the Capitol riots and 9/11 attacks still lingers in everyone’s memory, members of parliament and onlookers on campus were shocked.
