The Minister of Commerce, Atheer Al-Ghurairi, directed that precautionary measures be taken to preserve wheat and food supplies in conjunction with the rain wave.
A statement from the Ministry of Commerce received by the (INA) stated, “The Minister of Commerce, Atheer Al-Ghurairi, chaired the regular meeting of the opinion committee in the ministry, during which the most important files and plans related to the work aspects of the ministry’s departments and companies were discussed, and votes were taken on decisions that serve the work to improve performance.”
Minister Al-Ghurairi stressed, “at the beginning of the commission’s meeting, the necessity of taking precautionary measures to preserve wheat and food supplies in conjunction with the wave of rain that the country is exposed to during these days.”
Minister Al-Ghurairi directed “the necessity of expediting the completion of reports of unfairness, promotions and bonuses, and within employee entitlements, in order to achieve the public interest, which falls within the tasks of preserving those rights,” noting that “the Opinion Commission bears a great responsibility in examining the files and recommendations that are presented and finding quick solutions to what is presented.” “It fits with the general situation.”
The Ministry stated, in a statement conveyed by the media office, that “the Authority discussed during its meeting the topics presented on its agenda, the most important of which are: the recommendations of the Ministerial Committee related to support incentives, its legal texts and decisions issued regarding them, and support for the operational budget amounts, as well as the higher supervision committees of the Ministry’s leaders for the local wheat marketing season in Baghdad and the governorates and procedures for maintaining the safety of wheat storage areas.
He continued: “In addition to ideas, proposals and observations to create partnership and investment projects and economic plans and programs to maximize resources to dispense with financing the general budget at the center of the ministry,” pointing out that “the authority exchanges views on these topics and votes to approve them in accordance with what is planned and in accordance with the legal texts and decisions issued regarding them.” “.
