The import of foreign equipment with a cryptographic encryption function can be extended until the end of 2024. This is stated in the draft resolution developed by the Ministry of Industry and Trade. The document was published on the regulatory legal acts website on October 11.
Changes are planned to be made to the government decree “On establishing the specifics of the import into the Russian Federation of encryption (cryptographic) means and goods containing them” dated May 9, 2022. According to it, parallel import (import into the country without the permission of the copyright holder who has left the Russian market) of such devices allowed until the end of 2023
