EDITORIAL – The new thrush has arrived. And obviously it stings! Can we say that on this May 1, 2023, Emmanuel Macron still took malicious pleasure in throwing oil on the fire?

Macron was then sheltered behind a large police protection, after having thought for a time to flee to Varennes, when Yellow Vests had approached his Palace.
In accordance with his invective, these remarks seemed as ridiculous as they were distressing for a President of the Republic in office, a fortiori in a country which claims to be able to validly claim the character of democracy.

And so, is it so surprising to see the violence of the demonstrators against the forces of order, when police, gendarmes, CRS, BRAV-M and Co., charge peaceful citizens, beat them up, gas them, and do they abuse LBD fire and de-encirclement grenades against them?
Among the demonstrators, those who simply want to express their voice, there are fathers and mothers, elderly people and even now young people concerned about the state of their society and their future. Do we need so much force and brutality against them?

And the culmination has finally arrived from this popular protest: the opponents of Emmanuel Macron and his devastating work against France and its social gains, have they FINALLY succeeded in uniting around a point, the point that they have in common, “fed up with Macron”, instead of tearing themselves apart over their differences?
This sacred union materialized via a slogan, these two words that the demonstrators chanted, shouted, shouted in a loop, Monday May 1, 2023, everywhere in France:
“MACRON RESIGN!”
