During 2023, 147 new enterprises and organizations and 2,662 new individual businesses were created in the regions of Azerbaijan liberated from occupation.
According to Day.Az calculations based on the State Statistics Committee report, compared to the previous year, the number of newly created enterprises and organizations increased by 45.5%, and the number of individual entrepreneurs – by 23.4%. Thus, in 2022, 101 new enterprises and organizations and 2,157 new individual businesses were created in areas liberated from occupation.
Let us recall that during the reporting period, the largest number of enterprises and organizations were created in Agdam (35), Jebrail (22) and Lachin (19) districts, the largest number of individual businesses – in Agdam (994), Fizuli (632) and Lachin (273). ) areas.
