The Port of Vigo tenders the works of the railway siding of the Plisan platform
The Port Development and Investment Division of the Port of Vigo has put out to tender the works contract for the railway siding of the industrial logistics platform of Salvaterra Do Miño-As Neves, Plisan.

Among the works that go out to tender are the works on the conventional track that extends to the logistics facility and the construction of the railway siding, which includes the freight loading yard, road access, with an interior distribution roundabout, in addition to the urbanization of this area, with access control and perimeter fencing. The contract stipulates an execution period of twenty-two months and has an estimated value of 29,903,577 euros. The deadline for submitting offers ends on April 14 and the opening of proposals will be on April 27.
The project will be carried out with charge to the investment budget of the Authority Port of Vigo for the years 2023, 2024 and 2025, without prejudice to the financing mechanism established for joint financing by the three partners of this platform: The Port Authority of Vigo, the Vigo Free Zone Consortium and the Galician Institute of Housing and Solo .
At the beginning of February 2023, the Board of Directors of the Vigo Port Authority authorized the bidding, contracting, execution and supervision of the works of the construction project of this new siding (see news), while at the end of that month, the The Ministry of the Environment, Territory and Housing of the Junta de Galicia gave the go-ahead to the environmental impact report (see news).
