On August 22 and 23, Arayik Harutyunyan held closed discussions with various government, political and public circles.
In a conversation with “Artsakhpress”, the press secretary of the President of the Republic of Armenia Lusine Avanesyan informed about this, detailing that during them the humanitarian and security problems created in the Republic of Artsakh as a result of the complete siege by Azerbaijan, what to be done by the Artsakh authorities and mediation proposals received from various centers to resolve the situation were discussed. :
“No decision has been made, but the discussions are ongoing. In the near future, President Harutyunyan will make public the information about the situation and the approaches of the authorities personally,” said Avanesyan.
Earlier, “Hraparak” daily wrote that Artsakh President Arayik Harutyunyan informed at the session of Artsakh Security Council on August 22 that a decision was made to trade on the Aghdam road. According to the information of the newspaper, Arayik Harutyunyan allegedly informed that the trade will be “partial” through that route, construction materials, diesel, medicine will enter through it, and food will be imported to Lachin through Russian peacekeepers.
