There is not much time left before the September elections. Tambov experts share their views on the process of the election campaign.
Olga Plotnikova, President of the Regional Association of Legal Aid, commented on the pre-election competition in the Tambov region. She noted that at present the political competition is quite high.
– Compared with the elections of past years (days gone by), it has a steady, obvious tendency to increase. More than 50 political parties participate in the election campaigns, which indicates a high level of competition. At the same time, such an increase in the level of competition does not lead to the erosion of the party system, but to the creation of a new configuration and the promotion of new leaders of our Fatherland. Candidates analyze existing problems and actively contribute to their resolution, listen to the voice of every voter, – Olga Plotnikova emphasized.
She also recalled that on the eve of a single voting day, an active “struggle” between candidates of different views and ideas, diametrically opposed political ideologies will be introduced at all levels. From elections to village councils of settlements and heads of municipalities to deputies of the State Duma of the Russian Federation and top officials of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation.
“We can say with confidence that the current electoral system of the Russian Federation is“ breathing deeply, ”said the president of the Legal Aid Association.
