Princess Charlène graced the Rose Ball in Monte-Carlo. She impressed alongside her husband in an eye-catching look – and with a new hairstyle.

Prince Albert II came to the 68th edition of the Bal de la Rose in Monte-Carlo this year, accompanied by his wife Princess Charlène. The 46-year-old attracted everyone’s attention on Saturday at the gala evening, which was designed by designer Christian Louboutin. In keeping with the disco theme of the evening, Charlène appeared in a glittering jumpsuit.

The one-piece with long sleeves, wide legs, a waist tie and a deep neckline was an eye-catcher with glittering stripes in rose and silver. Charlène combined sparkling earrings and a small clutch with her disco look. Albert appeared in a classic black tuxedo and red bow tie.

The Monegasque royal family shared some impressions of the event on Instagram. Photographer Eric Mathon’s photos also include Christian Louboutin and Caroline von Hannover with their children Charlotte, Pierre and Alexandra. To see all photos, you must click to the right on the Instagram post.

Despite the high-profile guest list, Charlène in particular attracted the followers’ attention. In the comments section there were mostly compliments directed at her. “Charlène looks so incredible,” someone wrote. “Charlène is radiant! How beautiful,” reads another comment. “Her look is spectacular. Unbelievable,” said another person.

The fans agreed that the mother of two implemented the disco motto excellently. “Charlène is really completely on board with the topic. Bravo!” praised one follower under the post. The princess also appeared with a new hairstyle. Charlène of Monaco now has bangs.

The Rose Ball in Monte-Carlo is a charity event hosted by Caroline of Hanover and Prince Albert II for the benefit of the Princesse Grace Foundation. The theme of the last edition was Bollywood. The Rose Ball was held for the first time in 1954. The event on Saturday was certainly special: As “Paris Match” reports, Princess Charlène is said to have attended the event on Saturday for the first time in ten years.

The former swimmer and Prince Albert II married on July 1, 2011, and the church wedding followed the day after. The twins Gabriella and Jacques were born in December 2014.
